Now we are all waiting on Baby Cade. Mel is READY too and Chayse is waiting patiently for him to "pop out!" But in the mean time grad work is calling my name, lots of papers to write!

Santa already came???

Santa (and Mrs. Claus) has been working really hard on Chayse's room. For Christmas we decided it was time for a big girl room! Today Santa (and Mrs. Claus) put together the majority of the room and we still hope Santa will leave a few accessories under the tree. But here's a sneak peek. Chayse LOVED it!

Has this been the longest I have ever gone without posting???

It's been a month and a CRAZY month. Since Halloween John has been working nights. So we see each other about 30 min a day. He crawls in bed about 5 am and I get up at 5:15 then I get home at 4 ish pm and he leaves at 4:15. I do my best to come home for lunch but it is not always possible. He does pick up Chayse about 2 and spends a few hours with her. He had been working 6 to 7 days a week but rumor is that will slow down... we will see. So what have Chayse and I been up to????

Shopping! She says we are shopping girls! We've been to Belton, Greune, the mall, online, Smithville, and pretty much everywhere in between. We are not DONE Christmas shopping but getting closer and it is certainly under control. We have also painted her room and we are hoping Santa is bringing the bedding for the big girl bed! We saw Santa in the mall the past weekend and Chayse told him she wants a firetruck and we got a really good pic of the two of them. (Coming soon) We should also be getting our family pics back soon and will hopefully be posted.

And yup I'm still chugging on my grad school classes. I am "almost" to the half way point.
We've also gotten all the Christmas decorations, lights, tree and all up and ready for Santa.

Halloween has come and gone and in the past week we have; gone to the pumpkin patch, carved a pumpkin, Mommy made the costume, wore the costume to dance class, had a class party, and gone trick or treating. So of course Mommy took tons of pics. In the same week I have finished two more classes on the masters program and am proud to say I still have my 4.0 and now 18 hours of grad work. We have also had some HUGE changes with John's job and this past week he worked in San Antonio. THANKFULLY prayers were answered and he is now back in Austin which we are HOPING is permanent.

WHEEW what a weekend! now time to start Christmas shopping LOL !!!

BEHIND

So I am behind - what's new? LOL

We have tried the past two weekends to go to the pumpkin patch and both weekends it has rained I mean RAINED! So we haven't gotten any pics but Sunday at the church Fall Fest we will get some!

I am now in my last week of these classes and still have quite a bit to do but slowly but surely getting it done.

Last weekend John and I went to the A&M game and Chayse stayed with Nana, Papa, and Kennedi, here are a few pics.

Crazy week at the Wilson house!

We started last week good and then it all kinda crashed... Tuesday we had Chayse's 3 year check up. She is in the 80%tile for height and 85%tile for weight (BIG GIRL), she got her flu mist and seemed to be doing fine. Went to school Wed and that is when it all started. I am trying working 4 days a week of 10 hour days so I was off Wed (to write a MASSIVE research paper that I had not started on) and about 2 school called and Chayse was throwing up. I went to get her and needless to say we missed dance class and it was a LONG few hours (I'll spare the details) FINALLY just before bedtime she stopped. She stayed at home with Daddy on Thursday and seems to be fine now. She never had fever so we are guessing it was just a stomach bug. We were planning to go to the pumpkin patch yesterday but it rained all weekend. Then today I still hadn't finished that dern paper (it was due today) so after church that is what I did!

I am hoping we can go to the pumpkin patch next weekend and we have tickets to THE GAME! and will be yelling for the Ags! Hopefully next week I'll have new pics... 3 more weeks of these classes and then a MUCH needed BREAK!

The BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Friday was her birthday and we have had so much this weekend (we are all wore out.) On Friday after we took cupcakes to her class at school, we gave her our gift from us and she was so happy to get a puppy! Maci is a 6 week old black lab that I am sure you all will be seeing more of. She is just too cute for words and I am sure will be a great companion for little Miss Chayse. Then Saturday was the PARTY, we had her party at Jungle Java and her cousins and friends all came to play. We had cake and drinks and the kids had so much fun. Then after the party we went to Good Luck Grill for dinner with Gran Gran, Lou Lou, Jack, Julie, Alicia, Garrett, Kristyn, and Bill (yes a VERY big table) lol

It's already Fall and football is in full swing! Today while at HEB I noticed the Watermelons were gone and pumpkins were in their place and this past week we went from heat straight to A/C and sweaters straight to shorts??? Guess that means Fall has made it's way to Texas - LOL

Dance Class

We started year 2 of dance class today! Chayse was SOOOOO EXCITED! She is in a "combo" class and has class for 45 min each Wednesday. They do both tap and ballet. The class is made up of 3 and 4 year olds and no one could believe that Chayse is still 2! But she did really well and followed directions really well...

A tad behind!

OPPPS did it again! I'm behind but hopefully I can catch up real quick!

Chayse caught her first fish, yup she used the Barbie fishin pole, she was at the ranch and Papa and her Da (yes she still calls him Da) helped her. It has been two weeks and she still has not stopped talking about that fish LOL and now she wants to be a "fishin girl" for Halloween! Where did my baby go???

On another note, I took her for a routine hearing test and she hears fine, I somehow had a hunch because she talks like a parrot, but we have to keep an eye on her hearing.

We have gone to a handful of Express games this summer and at the last one she would finally let us take her picture with Spike aka the mascot. It was raining so she had on a poncho but this made her day!

This week we start year 2 of dance class, ballet and tap, so more pics to come...
