Updates

I am VERY VERY behind on here and I didn't even realize it until I am suddenly having people ask me why this thing is not up to date..... ummm I really didn't think anyone would notice... OOOPPPPS! So here goes:

• MY BACK - The MRI showed that the tumor had not grown since the last one 4 months earlier. THAT IS GREAT NEWS! And in that 4 months I had had the Cyber Knife so actually it had shrunk .02 millimeters (EVEN BETTER) but there are 25 millimeters in an inch so this was really not a measurable shrink, but hey it didn't' grow so the back is in good shape.... for now! Now the bad news - - so I asked the doc why my right arm has been hurting, ummm there is now a tumor on my neck (actually 2) they have been there for over a year and I really can't figure out why in a year and a half and 4 doctors I was never told... but, I was never aware of the neck tumors. SO, I have already have another MRI and the appointment with my "main" Dr is on July 10th so we will just have to wait and see???
• LAST WEEKEND - So So much fun! Carson came to visit Wednesday night and we did get off to a slow start, but in the end the kids had a BALL! We played in the water, made homemade ice cream, ate Popsicles, went to Jungle Java and played... we were worn out!
• MY CAR - In the midst of Carson's visit.... it died .... we changed the battery and the alternator and it then still needed more work, to make a long story short, it was going to cost more to fix it than it was worth! So yesterday I got a BRAND NEW car (I'm in love!) I got at 2009 Silver Murano, it has tan leather seats and complete with sunroof!
• SCHOOL - still chugging! I am at the tail end of this term and only have a few weeks left until these classes are over, and I can honestly say I WILL NOT miss this statistics class!
• VACATION - John and I leave Wednesday morning at 5:30 .... to ..... Key Largo! I am so excited! (We are already 90% packed) Our flight lands at Miami and then we will have a rental car for the 45 min drive to Key Largo! We will land back in Austin on Saturday at 10:30. Chayse will be at her Nana and Papas house AKA "the ranch."

Now if we can just make it through the 2 day work week, we are off!

Ok I will do my very best to do better! (PROMISE) and I will get out a few of our bedtime/prayers stories (they are hilarious) and hopefully pics of our trip!

Water BABY

Chayse LOVES the water and is FEARLESS in the pool. (I just signed her up for swimming lessons and hope to start this week) So far we have been to the "big pool" the one in our subdivision and the "little pool" in the front yard. I have not gotten pics yet of the pool but did take a few watering the flowers the other day and thought I'd share.

Don't we wish we were all 2 and could just strip down right in the garage while Daddy makes us all warm...

Carson is coming Wed and we plan to go swimming, make ice cream (shhhh its a surprise), go to the indoor jungle gym with Nana and Miss K... so I'm sure pics will follow!

And on me... well I am in week 8 of my grad classes and just chugging away... I had an MRI last week to see if there was any change int he tumor from the Cyber Knife and I have two appts this week with the specialist who will let me know if they see any changes.
