Painting the toenails!

Ok so I know I already posted once today, but I just couldn't resist! Tonight I painted Chayse's toenails for the first time. She wanted them PINK and did really well, granted the paint was quick dry paint but she did sit fairly still (for a few min) Then she wanted her fingers painted.... I told her "next time" that could be a mess! LOL When we were all done she said "Mommy they are beautiful!" LOL

Happy Birthday Carson!

The birthday boy!

Yesterday was Carson's birthday! He turned FOUR! He had a great day and we all went to San Antonio for the big event. Mel did a GREAT job and I have to say it was one of the cutest parties I have been to. The birthday boy was surprised with a visit from a REAL firetruck and firemen! The kiddos had so much fun exploring the fire truck and all that it entailed. Other than the wind, the day was perfect!

As for me... I am now DONE with my first term of grad school.... WHOOP! (Now just 42 hours left LOL) but this was soo good to know that this can be done. No, it is not easy working full time, going to school full time and being Mommy full time, but it is doable. I will have three weeks off and then start again.

Hope all is well and I promise to post more about my back as soon as I get confirmed information and dates from the doc.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Ok I know we are a tad early, but I knew Chayse would never come home from school clean tomorrow so I went ahead and took my pictures of her all dressed up! She is such a little ham in front of the camera.

"Hmmm what can I get into next?"

After I had taken a few pictures, Chayse got sidetracked and was trying to walk in Mommy's heels! I just LOVE it when little girls play dress up! I couldn't resist, and the look on her little face was just priceless!

Silly girl!

Tonight I though Chasye looked so cute in her new jammies that said "I love Daddy" and of course straight from the "baf" (as she says bath) her hair was just a pile of the most adorable ringlets EVER, so I went and got my camera and was trying to get a few, but you guessed it... Chayse was being SILLY and did not want her picture taken. This was all I could get LOL

So then I got another idea, I would take some of Chayse and Silver, because Silver is really growing too and no one can believe how big she is. Well it seems hard to keep a 2 year old still for a few seconds, try a 2 year old AND a kitten. This was all I got....

That was when I gave up LOL and my camera battery went dead... hopefully more pics later!

As for school, my classes are going really well and I only have three more weeks in this "term" but in these three weeks I still have to write a research paper. I brought my stuff home from work to work on it tonight and for some reason could not open the files I emailed from work. SOOOO tomorrow at work I will have to move to plan B so I can work on this at home too. When I realized that I could not work on my research paper is when I started trying to get the pics! And I didn't get those very well either LOL
