Dance Recital

Yesterday was Chayse's dance recital. (thanks for coming Nana, Papa, Aunt Mel, and Carson) Let's just say it was a learning experience.... LOL. Chayse was by far the YOUNGEST one in the whole entire show so we did have a bit of stage fright LOL, but we were so proud that she actually even went up on stage in front of a whole crowd she didn't even know. And she was so proud of herself when she got her end of the year medal. Chayse has had so much fun in dance class (she calls it her ballerina class) this year and will be ready to go again in the fall.

So I am a tad partial.... but isn't she the prettiest ballerina you have ever seen?

BAD blogger!

So I just realized that I have been a bad blogger :( I never updated on my back!

Here is the update ... last Monday (yes a week ago) I had the Cyber Knife treatment. Basically I just laid still for an hour and a half and felt NOTHING. I actually took a little nap! We wont know anything for a few more weeks. I will have an MRI on June 5th and then a round of Dr appts with all the specialist to see if this had any affect on the tumor. But we are continuing to pray that the Cyber Knife either shrunk the tumor or keeps it from growing.

This weekend is Chayse's dance recital... so stay tuned for pics!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, Mommies, Mothers, Mamas, Gran Grans, Nanas, Grammies, Aunts..... well you get the idea - Happy Day Ladies!

So far I have gotten breakfast in bed, flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, a trip to the mall, a card, and my car all cleaned up.... so far so good right? oh and Daddy got up with the little one at 7:20 and let me sleep!

When he took Chayse with him to get my car all cleaned up, he was so proud of himself, he dressed her and even "did" her hair.... (he even took pics he was so proud!) But I do have to admit she did look cute!

Ok not really.... but it was fun to pretend and get her all fixed up! We are practicing her hair for her first dance recital that is in few weeks! The crown is her headpiece!

This weekend when I was in the nail salon there were TONS of young girls getting makeup done, nails, toes, you name it, and it took a min for me to figure it out - PROM! So tonight I got a chance to dress my little DIVA up and couldn't resist sharing the pics! It wont be long before we go Prom dress shopping - right Daddy?

Ops I just realized that I never posted out outcome of the myelogram (does anyone even read this stuff LOL) This has been a LONG week, my ABI has not worked! SOOOO I have not been able to hear a thing since Tuesday night. BUT the manufacturer has now made two different shipments and we are up and running! Modern technology ROCKS!
anyway .. IT WORKED and they were able to get a good picture of the tumor after injecting contrast into my spinal cord, yes it was as painful as it sounds! But that is all over now (just still a tad sore) and we are working on scheduling the CyberKnife to "treat" the tumor. The CyberKnife is similar to radiation and supposed to be painless??? We will see! I will be awake and just supposed to lay still, sounds like naptime to me! So if the Cyber Knife can stop the tumor from growing we will be all set FOR NOW! and just have to watch and make sure the others ones aren't growing.
I am now in week 3 of the Masters courses and just SOOOO busy! but hopefully I can keep things posted better on here!
