Busy Busy Busy

Lots of happenings at the Wilson house!

Last week John and I took Miss Chayse to her very first Texas A&M football game. We went with the Diamond's and we all had a great time. Chayse, Class of '29, and Carson, Class of '27, had so mush fun seeing the sites of Aggieland and soaking it all in. The Ags didn't play that great, but we will go back next year!
LOVE theses two little aggies (standing with THE 12th man)

Then this week..... John injured his finger at work on Monday. If you are anything like me you don't do well with any sort of pain/blood/needles, so I still have not actually seen it, but he basically cut his Right index finger off at the first joint. Thanks to the fast acting ER team at Scott & White, it is sewed back on and all wrapped up. Then Thursday we found out my left eye has yet again become intact. Since it has been "worked on" sooo many times my Dr decided it would be a good idea if we went to Houston to Baylor Eye Center to a Dr who does a different technique. As soon as my Dr looked at the eye he said "You are a medical mystery!" Ummm I can't even begin to count how many other Dr's have told me that exact same quote! LOL Anyway we are headed to Houston Tuesday and will hopefully be coming back Wed. all patched up!

This weekend we took Chayse to the pumpkin patch, and she is looking forward to being a cat next weekend!

Summer Wrap!

The Wilson's are still alive! Just been VERY busy! I am at the tail end of my grad school term. I have one more week. Then a three week break, my LAST 2 classes, THEN internship and finished!!!!! Ok so that sounds like a lot, but really its not much.

Chayse is just busy as a bee, she writes her name now, questions everything, and has some kind of philosophy about everything. She recently moved classes and is enjoying "Ms. Tonya," she is also SUPER excited about her birthday party in 2 weeks and CANNOT wait to "be a princess." Chayse's dance class started again for the '10-11 year and she was ready to go!

John's company is picking up and they are now working either 6 or 7 days a week, 10 hour shifts. which means he doesn't' get home as early. They are still at Samsung and are expected to be there a while.

Here are a few pics from the summer:

Vacation 2010

We started out on Tuesday night at the Express baseball game just about a mile from our house. They had face painting and Chayse wanted to be a cat... I must say the lady did a good job!!! But it was HARD to get off. She said "Daddy, lets just leave this on till Halloween" --- umm I only wish!

The next night was the nail shop. Chayse picked out yellow polish for her fingers to match her swimsuit and purple for her toes. Where o where does this kid get her imagination?

Finally... THE BEACH - PORT ARANSAS!

Back at it!

I wont even try to ramble on and on about where I have been..... between grad school classes, a very active and lively little lady, work, and family, the blog has gotten pushed under the rug. But I'm "back at it" and will certainly try to do better keeping everyone updated this summer.

This past weekend was Chayse's dance recital and she had oh so much FUN! she LOVED the attention and I must say she looked just like a little doll. (Not that I am biased or anything!) We were so proud at how much she had improved compared to last year's recital and how much she has learned in dance class this year.
Here's a few pics of our little dancer:

Happy Birthday Kennedi!

The birthday girl!

Today she turns TWO! Not sure where the time went? Yesterday was her party and all the kids had a great time. Mel did everything complete Minnie style and Minnie even came as a surprise guest. After a tad of shock the older ones came to like her, but Kennedi didn't really like her?!?! And I must say Minnie and I have become really good friends and I was even told we resemble? ((The things we do for the kinds we love!))

Happy birthday KK, hope you have a great day!

HE'S HERE!

Baby Cade arrived on Thursday Jan. 7th in the afternoon. He weighed in at a smacking 9 lbs, 8 oz and 21 and a half inches. And does the proud aunt have pics to share??? NO and I'm not real happy about it! But I was there, they just wouldn't let me see him :( Cade Bradley had a tad of trouble breathing so they sent him straight to NICU, BUT he has now fully weaned off his oxygen (apparently this is somewhat common for bigger babies?) and is eating and doing great! Hopefully he will be going home in the next day or so!

your next question: why are you posting this 3 days AFTER he was born?
Because Carson and Kennedi have been at our house all weekend. And moms of 3, I gotta give it to ya... I'm wore OUT! but we had fun, went and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks, played, ate, played some more, ate some more.... and then returned them this afternoon. And each morning it was 10 degrees at our house, no kidding it was COLD!

HOPEFULLY we can go see him this weekend and then I will have pics!
