This is going to have to be quick..... My time sitting up is coming to an end! Long back story (no pun intended) but those of you who don't know - here is the story in short ... A tad over two years ago I had back surgery to remove a tumor on my spinal cord and the Dr's have been watching more tumors for the past two years (I have an MRI every 6 months) well it has come time for another one to come OUT! So Dr. Kemper and I started talking options and we decided that the Cyber Knife (similar to radiation) would be a MUCH LESS painful option that surgery so we would give it a shot! Well I had to have a CT and MRI that both give a really clear and GOOD picture of the tumor so the Dr would know exactly where to do the radiation treatment.... the MRI was the easy part it work the first time the Drs got what they needed... not so lucky on the CT part. After doing two different scans and blood work the Dr decided it was not working and the only option was a myelogram (think that is spelled right) SO I had that this past Friday as an outpatient procedure and it was PAINFUL! To give you an idea, it was similar to a spinal tap and THEN the CT was done! I then had to be flat for 24 hours following the procedure. I am now SUPER sore, but getting around better. We were lucky enough for Aunt Mel to keep Chayse all weekend while John waited on me hand and foot (Literally.) During all this we also said many prayers for my mom (aka Nana) who had her gallbladder taken out Wed. (she is doing great by the way)
We should know tomorrow if the procedure "worked" and they were able to get a good picture. If so we will move on with the Cyber Knife. BUT the nurse did call Friday night to tell us all "looked good" and not to worry all weekend!
I think it is now time for more pain meds - LOL hopefully more later.

What a week!
So the Wilson's have had one crazy week! Tuesday night we dyed Easter eggs. Chayse had so much fun. Her favorite part was putting the stickers on! LOL But we all had a great time. Then Friday was a fun day at school. Her class had their egg hunt in the morning, followed by their brunch party and then ANOTHER party that afternoon. Needless to say she sleep good Friday night. Saturday we chilled! Really we didn't do much other than see the Easter bunny himself in .... none other than in Wal - Mart (of all places, go figure!) But today has been non stop. THE EASTER bunny came to our house and left Chayse's basket filled with goodies! We went to church at 8:15 and then on to Buffalo, Texas. We had so much fun eating and hunting eggs one.last.time. - Thanks Miss Mary Ann for having us.
We have now hunted eggs four times and are all just about worn out from all the hustle and bustle. The Wilson's hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter!
Dying Easter eggs!
Eggs always need stickers!
Beautiful, but what happened to those last 2 ......... we will never know LOL
What a happy Easter bunny, but where is Chayse?
Wow the Easter bunny sure did a good job!

What did we get Daddy?
All ready for church, just not quite awake yet...

Tooo funny!
We just put Chayse to sleep and I decide it was a good time to start saying prayers each night (I know, I know I should have started this LONG ago) but we started tonight. So I started and said "Thank you God for Daddy," she repeated and then John said "Thank you God for Mommy," she repeated, and then she blurted out "Thank you God for Chayse." Poor thing didn't want to be left out!
John and I got a good laugh out of that one...
